In the Garden–First Week of June

Our Three Sisters are growing and looking beautiful!  We planted the final sister a few days ago, the beans.  Was it crazy to plant a garden in western Nebraska?    I guess we’ll find out…

I’m finding strawberry carcasses all over the yard.  There are a few berries still hidden underneath leaves.   That’s what you get when you invite birds to the yard with feeders and fountains and baths.  And really, I’m ok with it.
