Year in Pictures–Week 47

Meet the newest member of the family.  Because Mother Nature decided to pummel my current car with hail, we’ve decided it’s smarter to go ahead and buy a new one.  And this is the one.  We’re going to try to get it this week.  Looked at it yesterday, while we were in Fort Collins and it’s great!

DONE!  Done with the kitchen and we’re all very happy with it!  The new appliances were just delivered and they’ve all been broken in.  Feels like home again…  only prettier.  (I love that little tootsie-pop is in this shot.)

We had  Open Houses for Central and West Elem.  The boys were pretty excited (and for Bee, uncharacteristically so…)

The last day of summer break.  We wrote notes and included pictures to open on the last day of school.  They’re waiting, in a safe spot.

First day of fourth and fifth grades.  Love those giant boys!

Just a goldendoodle girl with a silly expression on her face…

Katherine and I took off for a day of shopping and eating out in Fort Collins.  We ended at at Whole Foods for lunch and it was awesome.  So many beautiful, healthy choices, it was hard to narrow it down…  (I bet we’ll be going back there again!)

Speaking of food…  I’m getting hungry for lunch.  Have a great day, everyone!

  1. Your new kitchen is just SO beautiful! I’m so excited for you to have such a beautiful space to spend your time! I can’t believe how much your boys have grown up in the short time I have known you. I adore that they wrote letters to themselves and that they took a serious & silly picture. Such an awesome idea!

  2. It is so much fun to have a beautiful kitchen. I spend so much time in there! The only thing we still want to do is the countertop and backsplash (and stainless sink)… it’ll have to wait a little bit though.

The boys must be at an age where growth really takes off. It seems we’re buying new pants A LOT because they’re all too short again… Won’t be too long that they’re taller than me…
